Why don't I find the EPFL EMBA program in MBA ranking lists?
A minimum of 50 students per class is required to allow an MBA program to enter an international ranking. Our program will never be this size, as we insist upon having classes specifically designed for highly personalized one-to-one interactions (max. of 36 students per year).

Manufacturing excellence in Pharma and Medtech contributes a growing share to an enterprise’s commercial success. In this module we address in a fully interactive and practical way how GMPs influence the development of products and the set up of Biomanufacturing and Medtech plants. During 3 intense days, we will go over Quality Systems, Process Development, facility set up and future trends in the industry that will also help to define what can be the facility of the future.

Our program is designed for scientists and managers who need clear insight into the specific processes of the biotech, medtech and pharma industries, including entrepreneurs and executives entering the pharma and medtech space for the first time.
EPFL is a life sciences innovation center in the and the source of over 100 startups in the biotech, medtech, and pharma fields. It functions as an innovation hub that draws some of the worlds most advanced companies in the field, with the area hosting labs and offices from companies such as Medtronic, Ferring, Lonza, Nestlé Health Sciences, and Debiopharm.
The high density of biotech and biopharma firms in the area creates an ongoing strong demand for managers with industry-specific knowledge.
