3-month part-time CAS at EPFL
Business operations roles are changing dramatically. Consumer driven demand, the rising consciousness of corporate responsibility and regulatory reporting requirements are driving this change so rapidly that organisations and employees are not properly prepared.
As a middle or senior Manager in the private, public or non-governmental sector, does any of the following resonate with you?
Then EPFL's Certificate of Advanced Studies in Circular Value Networks is the right choice for you.
Engage with world-class professors & leading industry experts, and build a niche professional network.
The Sustainable Resilient Value Chains program offers 3 Certificates of Advanced Studies (CAS) designed to provide targeted expertise in Circular Value Networks, Resilient Value Chain Management, and Value Chain Data Technologies, addressing both individual and organizational needs for sustainability, agility, and digital innovation.
“We are depleting the resources our businesses depend on at record speed and we must mind their sustainable management. Innovation tends to inspire businesses to overhaul their workforce, where instead we should leverage experience and upskill where needed. Which is where we come in.”

Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in
Circular Value Networks
Navigate the pathway to sustainability
What will you learn?
This diploma will give you the mindset, knowledge, and tools to initiate, guide and help measure your company's impact while implementing solutions.
There is no “one size fits all” solution for sustainability challenges: each opportunity must be considered in terms of the complete system and the trade-offs are complex.
The CAS program in Circular Value Networks will train you to think beyond operations and consider the complete system. It will give you the tools to critique reporting and focus on reporting outcomes, and to negotiate and monitor concrete solutions with suppliers.
Modules
The program has 6 modules. In order to obtain the CAS diploma, you must complete all of the modules. If you wish to deep dive into one particular subject, you can choose to take just some of the modules. Our modules offer tailor made academic and pragmatic learning for those seeking understanding of the science of sustainability, guidance on where to act and frameworks and skills to get the job done.
